Changing and Growing all the time…

On 5 August, 2008 by slowcoustic

“Changing and Growing” – this is a term used very often in my place of work.  I might venture to say WAY to often used in my place of work.  I use my professional life now in conjunction with my real life (day to day drone work vs. this website) and say that I am going to do my best to grow this website and post as much great music as possible and provide with you much webertainment (I claim this word as my own now!).

For those of you that have read this blog page over the last week may have seen some growing pains (a certain post is now deleted from this page).  As well, I have changed backgrounds for all pages (for quicker page loading) and implemented embedded music players (see this and previous post).

I hope this will be my last post on how “…this is all soo new to me” and “…let me know your thoughts on the new site” and I can just get into the webertainment (there it is again!).

But seriously, lets start off with custom made tracks for this post – firstly, one from Ms. Polly Jean Harvey.

The PJ Harvey track “Grow Grow Grow” (maybe not quite the grow we are hoping for, but come on, the title…) and she is an artist that I really enjoyed many, many years ago and still believe is great to this day.   This track is from last years’ White Chalk album, that was seriously under-appreciated.

Also secondly, including one from Mr. Sam Pickering Pick.

The Pickering Pick track “Time” completes the fact that I hope to grow this site over time.  A bit of a stretch to make a reason for a post, but you all know what I mean.  Pickering Pick is a truly stellar artist that offers all his releases up for free download (ALL 8 albums, 1 EP and 1 Single) on his Rate Your Music profile (linked above) and his Last.fm profile.
