French Quarter has my hump day covered

On April 1, 2009 by slowcoustic

This has been circling the webs for a couple of years, but just thought I would drag it out for a Wednesday.  I am having an ass week and just needed something to cheer me up.  A couple of ultra lo-fi covers are something that always makes me just a little bit warmer inside.  You may remember French Quarter from his great self titled album from last year among many, many releases.  Listen.

Visit French Quarter on MySpace and Label Page.

p.s.  New album “Ugly Unknowns” is now availalbe, visiting and paypaling gets ya one.

  • These are nice, particularly the second. I saw him a couple years ago and got Brotherly Love and Judgement at the time. It’s a good record but I hadn’t really kept track of him since. How’s the new album?

  • Hey Adrian (funny you should comment, wait till tomorrow’s post)!

I know, I lost track for a while and started listening the other day and had to post. I haven’t picked up the new album yet, but thinking of it for the weekend – I’ll let ya know.

    Anyone else?
