Today I have a couple of advance bandcamp tracks from John Statz and Wentworth Kersey who have both been featured previously on the blessed pages of Slowcoustic – so why not get a jump on the new stuff?

~~

John Statz has some very decent tunes on previous albums (see both Our Love Was Made For Canada & Dusk Came Slow for examples) so I think there should be good things upcoming on “Ghost Towns” set for an August release.  Find a few tracks from the previous albums and and interview we did with John by visiting HERE.

Visit John on his Website, Bandcamp (for a name your price copy of the above track) and MySpace.

Next we have Wentworth Kersey and their 3 EP project of O’s.  While being a bit more psych folk Americana than John above, they still bring some excellent tracks (see previous posts HERE and where they made it to my favourite EPs of 2009 HERE).   So to catch you up to speed, the O and the (O) EPs have been released and this summer should see the release of ((O)).  Catch ‘em if you can or you can visit them on their Blog (see the video of the below track), Official Website, Bandcamp and MySpace.

“Sun and Moon” – Wentworth Kersey, from the upcoming ((O)) EP.
