Chris Bathgate recently had a chance to record a Bridgehouse Session for the crew at Mostly Midwest.  I just want to say that if you haven’t seen it, you are in for a treat – this is great music with a fantastic video capture.  In fact, the video for the lead off track (from Bathgate’s new album “Salt Year – due April 26th, 2011) of No Silver is brilliant – cut shots, overlapped videos, excellent recording and you get a whole new take on what is already the most impressive song of the year so far.

The sessions include No Silver and Poor Eliza from the upcoming album with the final track We Die from what is probably my favourite Bathgate album, “Throatsleep” from a few years back.  Dig in below.

Bonus track also from “Throatsleep”: “Buffalo Girl”
