Lanterns on the Lake - Gracious Tide, Take Me Home

New track from Newcastle dream-pop band Lanterns On The Lake found its way to my inbox this morning, so I thought I would pass it on!  This is a great slowed down and haunting track, kinda what they are known for – it is actually quite beautiful.  Strings, piano and their patented ‘cinematic scope’ of music – it always feels so full and encompassing.
What am I talking about?  Just listen below and you will understand.

The new album (their debut full length) will be released on Bella Union in the UK and will see that on September 19th, 2011.

For more info on LOTL – visit them on their Facebook page and website.  You can also purchase their previous self released material on their Bandcamp page here.

Lanterns on the Lake are my favorite new musical discovery on the last couple years. I’m really stoked to for this album.

  • I’m really excited for the album, I added it to my recent Anticipated Albums Autumn/Fall 2011 list

Godd job highlighting their music! Any female dream pop and I’m there, (Memoryhouse is also excellent)
