Today we have a couple of videos from a couple of guys that know me as “that old guy they had coffee with in Calgary one day”. Yeah, its not hard to think that way when you meet up with a couple of talented young musicians on a tour stop in Calgary. Early last year Myself, Andy and Zachary visited a local coffee shop near my day job and we had good coffee, a couple of laughs and a good conversation.
Andy Shauf was kind enough to provide up one of his CDs and low and behold he has a new EP just out this week as well (see his bandcamp page for ‘Sam Jones Feeds His Demons’), so alongside the great Southern Souls video above take a listen to a new track from him below. Side note is the video above includes the song ‘Covered in Dust’ which will be on Shauf’s next full length release.

Next video is Zachary Lucky with a brand new video via the Street Folk Sessions in out in Hamilton, ON. Lucky is currently on another cross Canada tour, this time in support of his excellent new EP ‘Saskatchewan’. Fittingly, the song is the title track and is one of my favourite tracks this year.
