Matt Bauer premiered the first song from his upcoming EP yesterday on Paste Magazine’s website.  In true form, the lesser-thans will now post it as well…so here I am like a dirty shirt!

The EP is called No Shape Can Hold Me Now and will be out on Crossbill Records on October 23rd and the lead off track is entitled Tonight We Get To Sing Our Songs.  It is a lullaby of a song with great use of the wind section of your band along with a Wurlitzer for good measure…  Bauer’s songs are known to be blanket the listener and this does little to dispel that feeling.  It is warmth for a traveling stranger and a comfort meal from a loving partner.   Listen in;

As mentioned we still have just under a month to wait on it and I am sure it will not disappoint (as Bauer tends to not know how to).  Those might also find additional excitement to find out that there will even be a duet with Jolie Holland included in the 5 track release.
