Songs for Babes

First blogged about Talons’ lo-fi gem almost a year ago (see here) and I am glad to see what I think is an official release of the album.  Serious bedroom folk for the broken hearted.  A little bit of reverb, a little bit of piano and a lot of girls from the past.  I stand by what I said last October, and the album still holds up.

    also for reference as the album is all female names – “Cole” was actually titled ‘cole previously (maybe still is). I assume from NIcole…
