The Wilderness of Manitoba: “November” video

My love for bands with regional names.  Hmmmm.   You have the Rural Albert Advantage (but not really being based in Alberta) or The Wilderness of Manitoba (not really being from Manitoba) and there is something about these bands of my current and former home provinces that always seems to impress.  I don’t really know where I was going with that…I guess The Mountain Goats are really goats after all…  Sorry it’s Friday and I need the weekend.

Anyway, find the great new-to-me video for “November” from The Wilderness of Manitoba’s 2010 release “When You Left The Fire”.  I love the actual crackling fire in the video, the stripped down stylings, the whole late night campfire scenario is just perfect.  So let’s get on with it, see below:

Bonus mp3: “Hermit” (a favourite from the album).

p.s.  Don’t forget about their previous album, the absolutely fantastic “Hymns of Love and Spirits”!
